After the switch

Post-move Reconciliation

A comparison of the first complete reporting period on the new build against the baseline, with a short list of missing events, double counts, and figures that should not be charted year-on-year yet.

How this sits next to the baseline

After the old client is gone, the first complete week on the new property is usually noisy: testers reinstalling, a leftover debug event, a denominator that no longer exists. We sit with that week and with the baseline, and write which figures may be charted, which need a footnote, and which are still missing.

Bring at least one complete week of destination traffic and the last comparable week from the old property. Without those two columns the comparison is a story, not a reconciliation.

Duration. Two to three weeks after you have at least one complete week of destination traffic.

Fees. Quoted once we see the volume of properties and the quality of the destination event stream.
